Success: Fitness, Money, Fame

When anyone looks at the world today all that seems to be highlighted are quick simple fixes for everything! For instance fat loss pills, debt problems, getting rich and there is always someone well know representing that very product. Most of those products most of the time don’t work or are super expensive and very few find the very thing that does work. I know a secret that nobody knows and that’s how to have instant fitness success or rather success at anything you want.
To be honest it’s not a secret actually, it’s more of a concept that most of us have been reminded of in all our pursuits and hear time and time again, but it starts to get lost from the constant repetition of everyday life. However when it came back around and I stumbled upon it and really sat down to study what it meant to me it literally was the key I needed to get the success I have been chasing for so long. It becomes so ingrained in us that it’s an act, a vision, an idea that drives us every day. It is literally the driving force behind the pulse of your very being, passion, and life you constantly seek for. The secret to instant success in anything is simply controlling your MIND!!
Some of you reading at this point might be a little confused about this…. But seriously sit down and think about the actual thoughts that enter you mind on a daily basis. Are they thoughts of I can’t, I don’t, I’m not sure, that sounds impossible, I’m not into that, I doubt; if they are try changing everything you think into a positive. It’s a lot harder to do than you think. One especially if you are one weight loss journey or you see the situation you are in a negative perspective or having a negative connotation. First clear all your negative thoughts and picture your goal. Think about the positive implications your goal or path will have on your life and use it to fuel your action.

For the longest time I was in the gym trying all types of workout plans and nutrition ideas to only come back to the mirror and look at myself in disgust of what I saw. This negative mind set took a toll and sent me spiraling into a worse state mentally. This state brought about the negatives of a hard situation to the point where I didn’t want the change bad enough. I was just putting in minimal effort. A common saying in the fitness industry is you cannot out work a bad diet, trust me you cant. This applies because I would go to the gym and push myself to the absolute limit but then go back to my dorm room and have 4 pints of ice cream. Only to look in the mirror and not see what I wanted muscle tone wise. So I would go on a strict low calorie diet for a month compounding the problem. This became a rinse and repeat for me for about 2 years. At a low I was looking for motivation and this is where I first stumbled on a video by Kris Gethin. This particular video had him talking about what he does to obtain his goals. In the end it came down to mindset. What you think in the moment of your passion, do you give up or push that last little bit out or are you simply going to back down from the fight and walk away.
The most powerful thing is the more you think about the things you want in life you end up programming your every action, your speech, and the steps you are taking within in that day towards how you think. If a negative thought comes to mind don’t let it be there, it is a poison that will sit there and contaminate fellow thoughts. If you need positive reinforcement do it, simple written down quotes at work, have mantras of encouragement in the gym or at every hour you tell yourself something positive. What will eventually happen is your mind will start to change and with that your thoughts will start to change. These changes ultimately spur the change in action! When this is incorporated in your everyday life you will notice you become fearless, limitless, and push yourself far passed the edge of doubt. It literally is instance success in what you seek because you know nothing will stop you from obtaining the very thing you think. This becomes just another little item that will separate you in your journey from the person next to you.
Controlling how you think about the little things just becomes the first key to understanding the big picture, what you think is what you become. However the little things are also the very actions that sync with the pulse of whatever you purse. Thus forging your devotion and relentless pursuit to obtain a new standard and ultimately live by the iron pulse inside you.
