Oats and Berries Breakfast

This is usually my go-to breakfast during the work week. This meal only  has four ingredients, making it simple to make.  It only takes about 2-5 minutes to make in the microwave and fills me up until my mid-morning meal.

Ingredients:

 

-40 g Steel Cut Oats*

-140 g Frozen Mixed Berry Blend*

-156 g Egg Whites* 

-2 Eggs

 

Cooking instructions:

Add Oats, Egg whites, and eggs into a container that is microwave friendly. Cook in the microwave for 1:35 seconds. Let it stand for 20 seconds and then cook again for 1:35 seconds. Make sure that the eggs have cooked all the way through. Pull out of the microwave top with mixed berries. Enjoy!!!!

 

(I like topping mine with cinnamon, a small drizzle of sugar-free chocolate syrup, fat-free whipped cream, add in some peanut butter, or substitute some egg whites for a scoop of protein) 

 

 

* Ingredient amount can be adjusted based on meal prepping, macros, family size.
